Bark Mitzvah

November 13, 2016 @ 12:30 pm - 2:30 pm

HCRJ’s 60th Anniversary celebration continues with a Bark Mitzvah.

Dog lovers, you don’t want to miss this! Groomers, trainers, specialty treat shops, pet adoptions, music, games and more will help shape an afternoon of joy at HCRJ’s Bark Mitzvah. Food and fun for all! Rabbi Gross will extend a special blessing on every dog.  Dogs do not need to know Hebrew. All dogs need to be on a leash.

Canine RSVP requested to Justin at admin@hcrj.org. Register your dog by Wednesday, October 26 to receive a dog yarmulke!

The Houston Gypsy Wagon food truck will be back at HCRJ with hot dogs, ice cream, ice cream floats, Hawaiian shaved ice and more available for purchase.

Participating pet vendors include Natural Pawz, Kenji’s Kookies, Polka Dot Dogs, South by South Vets, Pup Sport, Henry Dog Design, Dirty Hairy Dog Wash, Crave Cupcakes, Kriser’s Natural Pet, Houston PetTalk Magazine, Best Friends Pet Care, Pupsicles, DoodyCalls, Rocky and Maggie’s Pet Boutique and Salon and Houston Pets Alive!

The Bark Mitzvah is part of HCRJ’s 60th Anniversary year and is sponsored by Mark Kariel and James Risher and by Melinda Neumann.

Bark Mitzvah Co-Chairs: Laura Frank and Melinda Neumann.
