Interfaith Iftar

July 17, 2014 @ 6:45 pm - 9:30 pm

Join us for a spiritual and historic event as our congregation hosts an Iftar dinner. Through this interfaith program we will be celebrating the common values shared in the Christian, Jewish and Muslim faiths.

Topic: “Traditions of Compassion: Presented by the Voices of Women Leaders”
Speakers Include: Rabbi Jill Levy; Pastor. Kimberly Orr and Dr. Monira Kundi

Iftar refers to the evening meal when Muslims break their fast during the holy month of Ramadan. Iftar is one of the most important religious observances of the Muslim faith and is often shared with the broader community.

As we continue in our efforts to strengthen our relationships with the Muslim community of Houston, your participation in this events will go a long way in helping us build these bridges of friendship and trust.

Please RSVP to Melissa Wolfson at hcrj@hcrj.org
