Social Action Project: Houston Food Bank

Join us for a midday, midweek project at the Houston Food Bank.

Our responsibilities will include inspecting/sorting food, repacking dry food into family-sized bags, stocking/cleaning the Emergency Food Pantry and more. The Houston Food Bank provides 79 million nutritious meals to food pantries, soup kitchens, senior centers and other agencies, feeding 800,000 people each year.

Donation Drive: We are collecting canned fruits in water or light syrup, natural applesauce, 100% juice cans or boxes, whole grain macaroni, linguini or spaghetti, canned tomatoes, canned tuna or chicken in water, canned beans, canned green vegetables, peanut butter, cereal and cereal bars.
