Shabbat Services begin each week at 7:15 pm.  An oneg follows each
service.  Please call to see if there will be child care provided.

The First Friday of the Month
This is a family-centered Sabbath for children and adults. The evening
begins with a Family Shabbat Dinner at 6:15 pm followed by our Family
Service.

The Second Friday of the Month
This contemplative service uses organ music to add a rich spiritual
backdrop for an introspective worship experience.

The Third Friday of the Month
This contemporary service includes the musical accompaniment of guitar
and piano designed to encourage congregational participation.

The Fourth Friday of the Month
This service seeks to create a contemplative service with a contemporary
flair. The musical experience is shaped by the sounds of the organ, piano
and guitar.

Holiday Services
During the year we have special services celebrating and commemorating
our Jewish Year. For times and dates, please check our temple calendar or
special events page.

High Holy Days
2012 Service Schedule
Rosh Hashanah starts September 16 at sundown.
Yom Kippur starts September 24 at sundown.

Liturgy
HCRJ retains its Classical Reform philosophy through the use of a
modernized edition of the
Union Prayer Book. It contains extensive
transliteration of most of the Hebrew prayers, thereby enabling those
who do not read Hebrew to participate in the liturgy. We encourage you
to discover within its pages a fresh approach and a return to the ideals of
Reform Judaism.
