La Dor Va Dor
In 1957, our congregation was born of the idea that Judaism is a religion that should be practiced in harmony with the dictates of our hearts instead of focusing on the use of symbols and accouterments.
In keeping with the traditions of Classical Reform Judaism in America, we compose a intimate, inviting, and inspirational congregation where fellowship may flourish.
We respect the individual, regardless of gender. We embrace interfaith families and welcome the full participation of non-Jewish members.
We believe that Judaism should be exemplified in all human relations by equality, brotherhood, justice, righteousness, and recognition of our mutual responsibility to each other.
We worship with ceremonies that are designed to be simple and meaningful and that emphasize English so that all can understand the liturgy.
We see our future as an energetic alternative to larger congregations for families who yearn for community and wish to be a part of an active congregation.
