The theme of this year’s Deli Shabbos experience will be food from Poland. Ziggy is preparing a very special Shabbat Dinner followed by a sermon about the history of the food that we will share.
Dinner Menu: Krupnik (mushroom barley soup), chopped liver served with bagel chips, mini challah dinner rolls, Jewish bigos (boneless short ribs, knockwurst, potato, carrot sticks, wild mushrooms and prunes in a tomato beef stock), potato pierogies served with sour cream, balsamic glazed roasted brussel sprouts and carrot souffle.
$25 per person for adults and $10 for children 10 and under. The dinner reservation deadline is Monday, November 12.
Shabbat Services will follow the dinner at 7:15pm.
The oneg after services is sponsored by Barbara Brownstein in memory of her husband, Rabbi Marc Brownstein.
