A Live Walking Tour of Jewish Berlin

Get ready for another great Jews around the World program! On Sunday, May 21st at 11:30am, we’re going on a live walking tour of Jewish Berlin on Zoom!
We will follow the traces of Berlin’s Jewish community from its beginnings in the 17th century and up to our days. Having been in continuous existence for 351 years, it witnessed many of the dramatic changes that shaped the Jewish world as we know it – Reform Judaism, the Holocaust, emigration and immigration.
Yoav Sapir is our guide. He was born in Israel and studied German-Jewish history in Jerusalem, Vienna and Berlin. He’s an active member in one of Berlin’s synagogue communities and has been leading tours since 2009.
