An event every week that begins at 5:45pm on Thursday, repeating until March 8, 2018
This class assumes no prior knowledge of Hebrew reading. You will learn the Hebrew alphabet in small steps, a few letters at a time until you have mastered the whole alphabet. At the end of 10 weeks, you will able to read anything written in Hebrew: The Prayer Book, Passover Haggadah and more! You will also be introduced to some basic Hebrew vocabulary. Taught by Lynn Abrams, this class will be informal and fun and every person in the class will succeed in learning Hebrew. Lynn has taught Hebrew to adults for many years at Houston synagogues and the Jewish Community Center. She herself learned Hebrew as an adult while living for six years in Israel. She has yet to meet anyone who cannot learn Hebrew!
$80 per person – includes all 10 classes, textbook Aleph Isn’t Tough: An Introduction to Hebrew for Adults, and other course materials.
Classes are on Thursdays nights (January 4 to March 8). Space is limited in the 5:45pm-6:45pm class! Please contact Justin at 713-782-4162 or firstname.lastname@example.org to register.
The 7-8pm class is full.
