ANU – Museum of the Jewish People Tour: Hallelujah! Assemble, Pray, Study – Synagogues Past and Present

August 23 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

In July, many participated in a great virtual tour with ANU – Museum of the Jewish People. That tour covered highlights of this new Tel Aviv museum. On Tuesday, August 23rd at 11am, we are signed up for another tour with the museum on Zoom – it’s “Hallelujah! Assemble, Pray, Study – Synagogues Past and Present!”

This is a tour of the world-renowned ANU – Museum of the Jewish People collection of synagogue models that tell stories of Jewish life around the world. These represent various communities and Jewish life relating to the synagogue: Social gatherings, study, creativity and prayer, as well as weddings, Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, fundraising, charity, etc. Alongside each model, an original ritual artifact is on display. The artifacts include historical Judaica, prayer books, publications and more.

Sign up with Justin at 713-782-4162 or Justin@hcrj.org.
