Chair Yoga Class

Taught by Suzy Shapiro, a certified yoga instructor, this chair yoga class will focus on strength and stamina, balance and flexibility, and a new sense of well-being. The goal of the class is to quiet our minds, relieve fatigue and boost our immune systems.
You will need a chair with a firm seat and back, a strap such as a belt or hand towel and a sticky mat if you have one and a folded towel for floor poses.
For class on Monday, April 27, please scout out an area in your home where you can set up in front of a wall or doorway. Ideally, you will be able to place your mat with the long side to the wall or extend your arms at shoulder height plus a foot on each side. This will give support and dimension to your practice.
