HCRJ Boomers and Friends Thanksgiving Cooking Class

Did you know there are four U.S. cities named “Turkey”, including one in Texas. Turkey, Texas (population 421) is in Hall county 64 miles southeast of Amarillo. The other three are in Arizona, Louisiana and North Carolina. Did you also know that the next HCRJ Boomers Cooking Class is on Tuesday, November 24 at 7pm?!
Join us on Zoom as we make a special cranberry sauce, green beans almandine and pumpkin cheesecake! Perfect for your Thanksgiving meal table. Cook along from your kitchen as our chef, Chef Ellen Schwartz, demonstrates the recipes from hers. You can also just watch and still be a part of this fun event! Looking to try out the HCRJ Boomers group for the first time or have you attended an event in the past? Come be a part of this Thanksgiving cooking experience!

Her recipes and lessons have appeared on FOX 26 with the late Cleverly Stone, founder of Houston Restaurant Weeks in support of the Houston Food Bank.
