HCRJ’s 8 Days of Chanukah Day 5: Chanukah Art Project for Pre-K to 4th Graders with Rene Kariel

On Day #5, we have a Chanukah art project and story and Zoom! Rene Kariel, one of our HCRJ Religious School teachers, will teach kids how to make a 3D dreidel and she will also read a Chanukah story.

Rene Kariel, one of our HCRJ Religious School teachers, will teach the kids how to make a 3D dreidel and read a story. This program is geared for kids in Pre-K through 4th grade. The only supplies your child will need are the two templates printed out (cardstock is recommended but not required), scissors, and their choice of material to decorate the templates with. Ideas include markers, crayons, colored pencils, or even paint. View and print template 1 here and template 2 here.

If your child struggles with cutting out objects – this is a great chance to practice their fine motor skills.  However, if you plan on letting your child sign on by themselves, we suggest you cut out the templates for them ahead of time.
