Object Stories: Judaica in Synagogue and Home

Rabbi Gross and other Jewish faith leaders from Houston will bring to life the stunning ceremonial objects in the The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston exhibition, Beauty and Ritual: Judaica from the Jewish Museum, New York, in a special free program at the museum on Thursday, July 28th at 7pm! Hear their personal stories of experiences with similar objects adorning the Torah in the synagogue or those used in the home in connection with ritual celebrations, such as the Sabbath and Passover. A moderated discussion follows, exploring the real-world significance of Judaica.

“Object Stories: Judaica in Synagogue and Home” takes place in the Brown Auditorium Theater in the Law Building, with seating on a first-come, first-served basis. No RSVP needed.
