Parenting Speaker Series Program with Meryl Cohen

Join us for our March Parenting Speaker Series Program as Meryl Cohen presents, “Talking in the Family: Embracing Sexuality Through Jewish Wisdom”.

Meryl, a licensed clinical social worker,  is a sexuality and relationship therapist at Revive Therapy who has taught reproductive and sexual health to thousands of students, families, professionals and teens for the last 30 years.  A professor at the University of Houston Graduate College of Social Work she teaches human sexuality, and is the former Vice President of Planned Parenthood Education and Counseling. She has written a curriculum on Sexuality and Judaism used at Emery Weiner the last 4 years and a book, Why is this Sex Book Different from All Other Sex Books?, A Parent’s Guide for Embracing Sexuality Through Jewish Wisdom that she uses with families to encourage family communication around values and sexuality.
