Part of the legacy we leave our children and grand children is the story of our past.  Learn to take the information you already know and use it to find clues about people, places and events. Although very little computer knowledge is required, we will be using the internet to do some of our research.  HCRJ has some computers available, however if you have a laptop, it would be helpful for you to bring it with you.  Also, please bring copies of any birth certificates, death certificates, marriage licenses and citizenship papers that you may have.  We will be providing forms to help you organize and maintain your genealogy records.  The class will be limited to 8 people so that the instructor might provide individual time for each participant.
