Social Action Project: Memorial Park Arbor Day

Tu B’Shevat, the Jewish Arbor Day and New Year of the Trees, is in January, and our social action group will celebrate by planting trees!
Join HCRJ, Memorial Park Conservancy, Trees for Houston and the Houston Parks & Recreation Department on Saturday, January 19 at 9am for Memorial Park Arbor Day! This is the largest volunteer event each year at Memorial Park. More than 800 trees will be planted in the park.
