Social Action Project: Block-Walking with The Restoration Team and Westminster United Methodist Church

Join us on Saturday, August 17 for a social action project to mark the 2-year anniversary of Hurricane Harvey.

HCRJ is teaming up with The Restoration Team and Westminster United Methodist Church to assist families in their recovery from Hurricane Harvey. We’ll canvas the Westchester neighborhood located between the SJV Campus and Dairy Ashford to find families still in need of disaster assistance. Please meet at St. John Vianney (SJV) Catholic Church at 625 Nottingham Oaks Trail, Houston, TX 77079 at 9am or we can carpool from HCRJ. The Restoration Team will provide a t-shirt for each volunteer, materials (clipboards, handouts and pens) for each team and a map of the area for the block-walk.

This is a project for ages 14+.
