Social Action Project: Interfaith Ministries for Greater Houston Operation IMpact

Do you want to make an impact? Then, volunteer with us at Interfaith Ministries for Greater Houston’s Operation IMpact!
Operation IMpact is a special project to help prepare homebound seniors across our community for Hurricane Season. We’ll deliver five days’ worth of shelf-stable meals and bottled water, as well as emergency information and supplies, to Meals on Wheels clients, some of the most vulnerable members of our community. This will ensure they are prepared in case IM’s regular deliveries are interrupted by a storm.
We’ll meet at HCRJ at 11am, get a brief overview of the day and then head out on deliveries throughout Houston. Delivery areas will include Midtown, East Downtown, Northeast Houston and Westpark Tollway/Highway 6.
This is a project for all ages!
