Social Action Project: LaundryLove

Join us on Saturday, June 16 for an interfaith social action project at LaundryLove!
LaundryLove, organized by a church in Katy called Next Level Ministries, is an outreach program to assist the low income community of Katy. The initiative consists of regular opportunities to help people who are struggling financially by assisting them with doing their laundry. It seeks to bring economic relief by giving individuals and families the option to redirect funds toward food, medical, gas or transportation costs as well as school supplies and other basic, everyday necessities.
Our volunteer responsibilities will include washing, drying and folding clothes, helping and talking with people, keeping track of money and more. This is a project for ages 13+.
We will meet in the parking lot at the Cinemark Theatre at I-10 & Grand Parkway (1030 W Grand Parkway North, Katy, TX 77449) at 11:15am and then head over to the laundromat.
