Social Action Project: The Women’s Home

Join us on Saturday, May 11 as we volunteer for The Women’s Home! The mission of The Women’s Home is to help women – many who are homeless and lack job skills or education due to substance abuse and mental illness – regain their self-esteem and dignity, empowering them to return to society as productive, self-sufficient individuals.

We will be at The Cottage Shop, a resale clothing and home goods boutique for The Women’s Home. Our volunteer responsibilities will include receiving, sorting and processing donations to get them ready for the sales floor. The Cottage Shop generates approximately 13% of the operating income of The Women’s Home.
