Social Action Spotlight: Cultivating Families

Houston Food Bank, Interfaith Ministries for Greater Houston, Kids’ Meals, The Women’s Home and Books Between Kids. These are just five of the many organizations we have supported over the last four years with our social action work.

Our HCRJ Social Action group can’t do volunteer work for the organizations above and others at the present time, but we’ve found another way to stay active. Introducing “Social Action Spotlight!” Come learn about Houston-area non-profits and their great work in the community!

At this first event, Reverend Amy Bezecny, the Executive Director of Cultivating Families, will join us on a Zoom video conference to discuss her organization. The mission of Cultivating Families is to inspire and equip communities of faith to care for foster and adopted children.
