Jews and Muslims have co-existed, at times peacefully, at times contentiously, for more than a millennium. What do they have in common? What are their sources of conflict? This course, created by the Florence Melton School of Adult Jewish Learning, will explore the complex intersection of these two major religions. It is open to both Jewish and Muslim participants and is offered as part of the Continuing Jewish Education program at the Evelyn Rubenstein JCC.
This is a 9-week class from Thursday, October 19 through Thursday, December 21. There is no class on Thursday, November 23.
