The Underpinnings of Contemporary Antisemitism

October 25, 2021 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm

In recent years, American Jews have faced increased threats of violence and harassment both online and offline. According to the Anti-Defamation League annual Audit of Antisemitic Incidents, 2019 and 2020 were, respectively, the highest and third-highest years on record for cases of harassment, vandalism, and assault against Jews in the United States. 2021 is no different as we continue to see a rise in antisemitic attacks online and offline.

On Monday, October 25th, at 6:30pm on Zoom, ADL Southwest will host its kickoff C.E.A.S.E. (Combatting Extremism and Antisemitism Everywhere) initiative with historian and sociologist Dr. Gunther Jikeli, who will be sharing information on the underpinnings of contemporary antisemitism. C.E.A.S.E. is dedicated to equipping Jewish individuals and organizations with resources to respond to growing threats of antisemitism and extremism.
