Yom Limmud (Day of Learning)

Back in-person on Sunday, February 19th, Yom Limmud’s program is all about learning ‘outside the box!’ Featured this year is actress and singer Lainie Kazan of Broadway and My Big Fat Greek Wedding fame. Yom Limmud will be held at Congregation Beth Israel.

Additional highlights include Cantorial soloist Jason McKinney with My Favorite Songs; Professor Kristine Garroway speaking on Where’s the Potty on Noah’s Ark; Rabbi Pinchas Taylor on Do Jews Believe in Aliens; and a special PJ Library program with Daniel Barash who will explore Judaic Curriculum through Shadow Puppetry. Plus, stay our first ever Yom Limmud bus tours showcasing mural street art in Houston or Eastern Religions.
