Do I need a ticket for the High Holy Days this year?
If you are attending in person, yes, you will need a ticket. Tickets will be mailed to all members in good standing. Members in good standing: those who have paid in full (1) the previous fiscal year’s (’20-’21) membership dues, building fund & security fee, and (2) the first quarter of this fiscal year’s (’20-’21) membership dues, building fund & security fee.
A ticket is not needed if you are watching the streamed service.
What COVID precautions will be in place for the in person services?
In order to ensure the health and safety of those who worship in person, masks will be required for all in attendance. Should our in person policies change prior to the holidays, a communication will be sent to the congregation.
How do I access streamed services?
Services can be streamed on the HCRJ website at https://hcrj.org/live-stream. We will also email this streaming page link to the congregation the week prior to the holidays.
Do I have to watch services live if I am streaming?
No, you do not have to watch services live. All services will be archived and can be watched after the fact.

Will there be a break-fast?
While we will be unable to gather for a break-fast this year, we will be offering boxed meals for purchase to take home that can be picked up following the Yom Kippur concluding service. The boxes are being prepared by New York Deli and Coffee Shop/The Bagel Shop Bakery. Click here to order your boxed meal.
I lost a loved one in the last year. How do I have their name read during the Yizkor/Memorial service?
During the Yizkor/Memorial service, Rabbi Gross will read aloud the names of those who have passed away in the last year. To ensure your loved ones name is included, please email Justin Deutsch at email@example.com.
Can I purchase tickets for a guest?
Tickets will be available for purchase for family of current HCRJ members. We will not be selling guest tickets to the general public this year to try and minimize the number of people in the sanctuary. If you would like to purchase a ticket for a family member, please contact the temple office at 713-782-4162.
