Held each year in August, this four-week course is designed for adults who wish to deepen their knowledge and appreciation of Jewish history, beliefs and practices. Basic Judaism is an ideal course for everyone at HCRJ and serves as a wonderful overview for newcomers to our faith.
Each week we will address an independent course topic, so you may pick and choose the classes according to your needs and interests. Topics and dates are listed below.
Classes are usually on Wednesday evenings in August from 7:00 – 8:30 PM. Some of the topics discussed are God, Torah and Israel: the Foundations of a Faith, the Evolution of Values and Laws, Jewish Prayer and Ritual Practice and a High Holy Day Workshop. See August temple calendar for dates and details.
Please RSVP to the temple office at admin@hcrj.org.
