Every year, Memorial Day represents a way to honor our veterans who boldly put their lives on the line to protect the values of our nation. This day is a kind of national Yizkor, an opportunity to honor the memories of the fallen.
Memorial Day weaves us together as a nation. Many of us place flags in our yards as a collective salute to the values we strive to uphold.
This Friday night will include meditations and songs to honor those whose valiance and service inspire us to be a nation committed to freedom and justice for all. Join us as we reflect on what it means to be a beacon of liberty and harmony for all the world to see.
